SMS Terms

These terms cover the text message program run by Start My Business Inc. and 508 Ministry. Joining is optional. You are never required to agree to texts to buy anything or to use our services.

1. Program name and sender

Program name: Start My Business Text Updates. Messages are sent by Start My Business Inc., 1603 Capitol Ave, Ste 413, Cheyenne, WY 82001, including for its 508 Ministry product.

2. What we send

If you opt in, we may text you offers, reminders, scheduling and follow-up messages, and updates about your order or your file. Some messages are marketing messages.

3. How you opt in

You opt in by checking the optional text message box next to a phone number on one of our forms and then submitting that form. The box is unchecked until you check it. We save a record of your choice: the number, the wording you saw, the date and time, the page, and your browser and IP address.

4. Consent is not required

Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or service. You can submit a form or buy from us without checking the box.

5. Message frequency and rates

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Opt out (STOP) and help (HELP)

Reply STOP to any text to stop all messages. You will get one confirmation text and then no more.
Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
You can also email [email protected] with your number and we will remove it.

7. Privacy

We use your number only to run this program and to serve your account. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes; text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy.

8. Supported carriers

The program works on major U.S. carriers. Service may not be available on every carrier or plan.

9. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new date here. If a change affects what you agreed to, we will ask again.
